I live in NJ and my wife and I have been living separately for a little more than the required 18 months for a no fault divorce. I bought a cd to help me with the paperwork. I brought her the marriage settlement agreement and she refuses to sign it. I was trying to keep lawyers out of it, but it looks like that won"t be the case. Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me? Will a judge still grant me a divorce if she doesn’t want to go thru with it?

If it is a no-fault divorce and you have been separated for the required amount of time after she was served with the original divorce complaint, then yes, you will be granted a divorce. You’ll still have to work out that settlement agreement, though. Good luck.
We if there is no way of working it out it’s time for you to get a divorce. Maybe you will have to bring lawyers into it, but that doesn’t always work either.
